Do you like the opera?
There are actually many pieces for the piano that were composed for opera.
Some of them are “opera food” such as Italian cookies (representing Puccini), Spanish peanuts (Carmen), an assortment of rice cakes (Madame Butterfly), and Swiss chocolate (William Tell).
